Welcome to my blog!

“Noticing the gap” is a term used in the field of second language acquisition that refers to the need for language learners to notice the differences between the language they produce and the target language. Researchers believe that the process of noticing is key, as it leads to improved linguistic accuracy and deeper cognitive processing.

This concept of noticing the gap applies to other fields as well, particularly, with regard to the gender gap. We must first notice the gap that exists between men and women, in sports, leadership, employment, etc., before we can work toward equality.

I hope my blog will draw your attention to some of the issues in which there are gaps in equality and help you to take the first step toward change, which is, to notice.

How did you arrive at my post on Take One Candle Light a Room? I am asking because I have had a huge increase of page views lately but cannot figure out why. Your reply will help me know how I am reaching the readers I reach.
